Everyone who stayed at the Ramada or in the local area was
invited to join us in the Oasis for brunch on Sunday morning.
We served an "expanded champagne continental
breakfast" including eggs and bacon, bagels, croissants, assorted
pastries, fresh fruit, and everyone's favorite -- Krispie Kreme
doughnuts! We also served mimosas,
Bloody Marys (Bill Bowling's famous recipe), coffee, and juice.
Serving brunch gave us one last opportunity to spend time with our
out-of-town guests, especially those getting ready to leave for the
airport. We figured that most of our guests would sleep in a
little and come for brunch mid-morning. How wrong we were!
Turns out our guests are early risers -- most everyone came between
8:00 and 9:00am!
